Knight-Hennessy Scholars program develops a community of future global leaders to address complex challenges through collaboration and innovation. This year, the program will award up to 90 high-achieving students with full funding to pursue a graduate education at Stanford, including PhD's in Chemical Engineering. To be considered, you must apply to Knight-Hennessy Scholars by October 9, 2019, and separately apply to the Chemical Engineering department by late November(exact date TBA).
May 1, 2019: You can now apply to be a Knight-Hennessy Scholar.
October 9, 2019: Submit your Knight-Hennessy Scholars application by 1:00pm Pacific Time on October 9, 2019. The Chemical Engineering application will be available by the end of September.
January 15, 2020: You will be notified whether you are invited to Immersion Weekend, or not selected as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar.
February 7-8, 2020: Up to 175 finalists will be invited to Stanford for Immersion Weekend. Immersion Weekend offers a comprehensive preview of life as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and allows Stanford the opportunity to learn more about you.
TBD 2020: Immersion Weekend participants will be notified whether you are selected for the 2020 cohort or not selected as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar.
September 2020: You’ll enroll at Stanford as a Knight-Hennessy Scholar and in the Chemical Engineering program.
