Izoduwa Aimiuwu - Mason Fellowship
We are excited to share that Izoduwa Aimiuwu has been awarded the prestigious 2026 Mason Fellowship. The impressive pool of nominations for this fellowship reflects the commitment of our Chemical Engineering students to fostering an enriching environment for education and research within our department and institution.
The Mason Fellowship, funded by the Mason Lectureship Fund, provides a three-quarter fellowship that covers the student's stipend at the SGF level and tuition. This honor is granted to a graduate student who has shown exceptional leadership within the student body and who has gone above and beyond in their studies and research to serve the department. It recognizes those individuals who have made significant contributions to both the department and the graduate student community.
Izoduwa’s contributions span many facets of departmental life. She has served as GSAC co-treasurer (and previously as a first-year representative), co-coordinator for the ChemE REU program (invited back for 2026), co-Prospective Ambassador for Visit Weekend, a SERIO mentor for undergraduates, and a mentor in the Stanford EDGE Fellowship program. Across these roles, she has been praised for her organization, reliability, mentorship, and consistent dedication to student well-being.
