Graduate Fee Waivers
If you are considering applying to Stanford graduate programs and need assistance with the application fees, consider applying for a fee waiver. Eligibility: U.S. Citizens or permanent residents who obtain GRE fee reduction certificate.
Estimated Expense Budget
The estimated expense budget provides information about the cost of graduate tuition and estimated living expenses for the current academic year.
Health Insurance Subsidy
The University’s Cardinal Care student health insurance plan is managed by the Vaden Health Center. The Financial Aid Office administers an automatic University-wide subsidy program for Graduate students.

Research Assistantships
Research assistantships (RAs) are available to continue PhD Students. RAs are awarded by individual faculty who have the necessary research funding. Typically, students who have successfully arranged for an RA appointment have secured it by contacting a faculty member directly.

Teaching and Course Assistantships
Teaching/course assistantships are offered primarily to continuing students and to a limited number of entering graduate students. TA/CA-ships are offered by individuals who have been allocated the necessary funds to hire a TA/CA. TA/CAs must attend the TA Orientation offered by the ChemE Department and the Center for Teaching and Learning.
